:ugh: anyone got 19" wheels on their MKIII??? im going wheel shopping on wednesday, and i want big wheels, just for show mostly, ill still use the sawblades for racing. Im wondering if 19 is to big. Also, whats the widest wheel you can fit front and back with out MAJOR rubbing. I dont want to have to go widebody(or super wide body:ugh: ) well either way, input it apriciated. Pics are good too

All depends on what offet you go for. I have 35 on the front and 38 on the rear.
If you think it might rub go higher on the rear ofset. The front is perfect. This is about the limit i would say that will fit under the mk3.

Look up "wheel offset calculator". This was a handy tool in trying to figure out if the new rims I'm picking up will fit or not. What I found was that my new rims (8.5" wide in the front) will actually fit better than the MkIV TT rims.

so after shopping aorund today, i think im going to go with 18s, tires are easier to get, wheels arnt 6 weeks away, and the style i really like is only avalable in 18

I haven't even seen them yet. Got the call from my wife that they were delivered. Still have to get the rubbers for them though.

I have never seen these rims on a Supra - or any other car on the road actually. They have been out for a while and I know someone has them somewhere.

I'll get you guys a teaser picture but you'll have to guess what they are. :)

I gotta go home from work first. :)

Those picture wheels are wild. I would never run them on my car personally... but they are wild.

Here ya go. This was what was waiting for me when I got home tonight. Wife says I have to put them in the garage though. How can you put something this sexy out in the cold? :)
