went and purchased an air compressor and some air tools (replacing stuff I had to leave behind in NM) and rebuilt a pair of front calipers for the 89.
front brakes feel a ton better now.

now its time for a long hot bath...to soak away the aches in my tired old body. Then its Sunday night movie night.

Hey there we go - see ... somebody was doing something Supra related today! - I knew this wasn't off topic :naughty:

As far as the pic in my 1st post - yes, I'm attempting to mold a new gauge cluster that'll mount in the factory location. What you see there is the beginnings of my foam mold. Will have to figure out fiberglass in a hurry when I start overlaying the finished 'sculpture'.

I dunno yet if I'll pull it off - but it's been fun trying, so far.

I have to spend all my spare time working on the supra since i work and goto school monday through friday.

fiberglassing isnt hard at all when you already have a mold. Just have to get a releasing agent on there so you can take it off the mold. Theres tons of tutorials online on how to fiberglass im sure you shouldnt have a problem... Good luck with it!! if it comes out nice im sure a few people will request one of their own since you already have a mold.

Got to church about 9:00 to get everything ready for my Sunday school class (11 and 12 year olds), worked children's church service, and then drove to my mom's for lunch ( baked pork chops, creamed potatoes with gravy, green beans, biscuits, and home made mac and cheese). I was back at church by 4:30 for Christmas play practice (ages 6-12) . Got home around 7:45, got the girls ready for bed, and now I can relax for a little while...........:icon_bigg

I awoke at 8 called employer, went back to sleep. Woke at 10 got the supra running for a little while then went to work for 3 hours. Came home and then my dad drove to advance auto to buy parts to wire the battery back up with good terminal connectors and such. SUPRA RUNS AGAIN! Drove supra for a while. Took a nap. Drove supra for a while again. Post whored and watched t.v.

LOL - I love it ... buncha slackers!! :icon_wink

MkIII Vixen: sounds like a flashback to my upbringing, church 3 times a week - at a minimum!

No, I'm not trying to drum-up business for gauge panels ... I figure this for a "one-off" project. I was just curious who was working on their Supras today ... today I wasn't a slacker for a change!
