Oh yeah, another question. In the past I've heard/read that guys that were upgrading their CT26's to 60-1, and 62-1's weren't having much luck. They were said to be unreliable by many. If I were to upgrade this T4 I have to a 62-1 wheel with the standard shaft, do you think I would have the same problems because of the smaller shaft. If I have to upgrade to the big shaft option I might as well go for a completely different turbo.

The reliablity issue with ct upgrades comes from the poor mismatch. It's a very small turbine wheel. Full 60/62-1 small shaft T4's are fine. As far as having to upgrade to a big shaft. You'll have to swap the center section too. Basically you'll be keeping just the turbine housing, which is still a less efficient, undesirble on center housing.

Ok, I think I'm going to take things slow and crawl before I walk. I'll be tuning to a tune of 400+rwhp. I'll get used to that, and try to perfect my tuning abilities with this MAP-ECU that I have. Later I'll graduate and go with a bigger turbo, and possibly an AEM stand-alone once I'm ready. Maybe I'm just too much into a hurry to try to hit 550+rwhp, and will make alot of costly mistakes with my very little experience. So I guess I'll be hanging out with my less efficient undersireable ugly stupid turbo, CLIFTON!! :crazy1:
