I think it is commonly accepted to use the highway as a frame of reference... If you wanted to be silly you could use yourself as the frame of reference and say you've never driven faster than 0 mph (or maybe a couple mph from jerking [strike]off[/strike] in your seat).dpack138;1240669 said:

Speedo is pretty far off at that speed, but it is a GPS indicated 162 at redline
I have a death wish I guess... those tires are rated for like 90mph. And a 32 year old car with stock suspension and brakes has no buisness going that fast... but I just can't stop myself.
Thinking about hooking up the digital dash speed sensor back up to see if that'll limit me back to a more reasonable speed this year.

I got mine up to 100 but I did not want to go any faster due to the hood looks like the hood is going to pop open on me. Oh I was on a track:sarcasm:
110 is all i felt safe doing, i used 4th to pull me to about 90 and then 5th to push me to that, i think i could get a good 125 out of it but not with that suspension. also, i have 245/50/18 tires on the rear so i'm sure my speedo was way off.
