well seeing as that appears to be most likely a factory long block 318 or 340. the 12k 427 is comparing apples to oranges.
i ment as far as production american small blocks such as the chevy 350, ford 302, and the chrysler 318 ,340 and 360. engines taken out of wrecked/parts cars and swaped into another vehicle.
noone mentioned what motor that is exactly so its either a 318, 340, 360 or maybe even a 440 but i think that woudl be more noticeable. all these motors have one thing in common though...........it cost more then the ford and chevy. so yes a small block chrysler is the more expensive way to go and is definatly the more unique because the ratio of swapping small block ford and chevys to swaping small block chryslers is most likely about 25:1
