'kay,
Troubleshooting my code 11 issue and also for my low/spongy brake pedal and found this hose, but can't find what it goes to... Looks like it's attached beneath (red arrow) the steering column (green line)... Comes up towards the brake booster (blue arrow)...WTF!?!?:icon_mad:

The engine bay is still too hot for me to feel around behind the booster, but I don't remember anything being there.

I do not know what it is as my Supra never had a charcoal canister, EGR or any of those annoying vac lines on the intake manifold. However I do know it is not a fuel line if your car drives, so not a line off the J-tube. Whatever it is, you might want to get it away from your steering shaft. It looks pinched.

Looks a bit like a vapour return to the charcoal cannister.

thats on the other side.

also, the steering shaft should have a cover on it. that hose is misplaced. it shouldnt loop thru like that. dont believe thats a fuel return since it isnt a shaped hose.

i agree with lagged. a hose is like a piece of rope. theres 2 ends. trace the hose and find the other end.

if it runs and drives, its not fuel as said earlier. if it dosent idle funny, i dont thinkit would be a vac line(a lil too big for that.) i dont think it has anything to do with the charcoal canister.(sorry IJ)

if you trace it down, you may find that it may not even belong on your car. those hose clamps dont look like stock toyota clamps to me. not that ive seen at least.

? that type of clamp was all over on my completely STOCK 86.5.

that looks like it could be the fuel return, did you bypass the jtube and leave the other line there?

also, whatever it is it dosnt belong snaked inbetween the steering.
