What the fastest a 1986.5 N/A can get in MPH on a straight stretch?

can't be too high, N/A's have very short gearing in the w58 (if so equipped), plus the 4.3 differential doesn't help very much..

I have taken the speedo up to 130mph, its a 5 speed W58. But, thats only what the speedo said, weather or not I was really going that fast is questionable, hehehe.

Got my 88, N/A, W58, 4.30 to 120mph, it still had a bit more but I didn't want to push it too much, it didn't really take that long to get there either.

They were tested at 130Mph when new and you can be sure the Mag cars were cherry picked to be the best examples.

Edit: Mine is also stock, wait! I have one upgrade and it is the cabin air filter, does that count?

really? I wouldn't think the 30hp would make that much of a difference. My stock turbo car can hit 150 without much effort. It does take a little bit to get there though.

Yes really.....

My NA was in good condition and well tuned and wouldn't go much faster than 125 GPS verified without a slight downhill or a tailwind.

Can't remember the exact figure but above 100mph your HP needs to increase by a HUGE % to overcome the air resistance and it increases non linear. (I think squared but I'd need to check)
