What's the difference between 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE?

Oil pans - 2jzge is stamped for but not drilled for oil returns.
Block oil feed locations are blocked as well.

Cross over intake, different intake / exhaust manfold bolt patterns, 2jzge is Distributor based, 2jzgte has crank and cam sensors and is cop.. differences go on and on.. what exactly do you want to know
The factor internals on a 2jzge are quite strong, I wouldn't worry untill you're north of 600whp.. I've seen dynos of 650-700whp though on stock GE blocksw/ thicker hgs

970whp on a stock GE shortblock here in dfw a few weeks ago

I've heard the oil galleys are smaller on the GE motors, but I think I'm thinking of newer GE motors (like newer IS300s and such).
ok you guys answer my question very fricking good! i really want to know how much i can abuse my factory engine, thing is i am installing a 2jzge with triple side draft carbs and nitrous in my celica here pictured and i want to know if i can hit it with 250 shot + 220 that came from factory if i am ok there is like 400 to 420 at the wheels good enogh to get me to the 10's in the 1/4 i dont need more than that.

Honestly i think nitrous is a little violent on the engine, but.. hell ges are only like 500 a pop.. so spray the hell out of it!
