Look on Supra forums, there is a Sticky my MAtt that list how much power each makes.
In person, I have seen 570 rwhp with stock bottom a single turbo etc...

I did 550whp on a single with a Blitz ECU and S-AFC with MK4 550cc inj. last year.

All bolt on stock engine bottom to top.:biglaugh:

Jeremy

p.s. it did 470rwft/lbs on that run.

So it goes.

I believe this is the North American record. At least known record, barring the rumor of the 1000whp stock bottom end 1JZ in Florida that I keep hearing about...

I am about 90% positive there was a guy who hit 800rwhp on the stock bottom end on sf. The guy who ran a 9.2 in the quarter mile I think. If you count 1.5JZ's I believe Orin's Dyno'ed 874RWHP as well. Ask beef he knows. 1JZ's have only started to get popular in the past few years, give it a few more years here and you'll be seeing 1000RWHP... my guess is Japan has had plenty.

1200whp and 4 ftlbs of torque

:puke: :barf:

are you joking? here's a newbie-type question; what kinds of internal mods/strength mods does a 1jz need to reliably survive that kind of power??

and what do you replace to make a 1.5jz, the head?

yeah he was joking. that power is mathematically impossible so i'd think you would know that?. Anyway the stock 1j bottom end is rumored to handle 600 whp+. And you replace the block IIRC.

Maybe I am missing something but I don't see anywhere in his first post about it having to be a stock bottom end. He asked about most rwhp for a
1jz.

there's no way you can have 1200whp and only 4 ftlbs of torque
he was just making a joke.you know the 1jz nicknamed the torque less wonder because of the 2.5L displacement

Not mathematically impossible, probably just physically impossible as it would require the motor to turn at over 1.5 million RPM.
