Well, if you can get your 7m to spin to 10000rpm, you can run a 1.15 and make boost at 8000rpm........ :bigthumb:

I would guess .83 for stock redline.

Tubbie: Depends on the Wheel size.

A little wheel at 1.15 ar would spool fine and large one wouldn't.

All comes down to volume of gas flow ie: either bigger motor or more RPM will spool a larger turbo.

I ran a 1.00 a while back...not by choice, I couldn't find a smaller one at the time and just ran with it. veeeery laggy.

1.21? sheesh....look on ebay for a smaller housing.

From what I'm finding, the BB GT turbo's can run slightly larger hotside AR's and still spool fine on the street, yet flow more on top as a result. (But they spool up even faster with smaller AR's, but you lose some flow as a result.)

Classic trade off here. High power, or driveablility.

I choose driveablility personally. (But the larger housing might be fun on a dyno or the drag strip if you have some way of building boost off the line, N20 or an automatic trans for example.)
