As for all the bolt on JDM parts most are a bit too gimmacky for me I prefer function over form.

:word8kn: replacing already functioning parts with JDM parts, because there JDM, is a waste of money, time and doesn't make sense to me. JDM craze FTL.

Would you wear a mask to try to look like a Japanese person when your not? then why do it to your car?

The only parts i would consider and i dont even know if there even JDM, is the visor for the rear window and Turbo A duct. The visor cause i think they look cool and the turbo a duct to get a clean opening in the bumper for better flow to the intercooler/radiator.

stock USDM 89+ tails are a lighter red than the JDM's, and it's center piece is lighter still. Also, I think the rear signal insert is a slightly different orange, but it doesn't matter anyway, most remove those (took mine out an hour ago)...

I chose all my "JDM" stuff because it fit my personal style.

I didn't buy 89+ JDM taillights because everyone else had/wanted them.

I didn't buy JDM rainguards because everyone else had/wanted them.

I bought my stuff because they help me progress towards my "dream" Supra. That's the only reason you should ever buy/replace parts. Because it's what you want.

A car can be a statement of who you are, or transportation. My Supra has always been the former.

never seen a tow hook... come on....

i didnt say never seen "A tow hook". i said, never seen an original, factory JZA70 tow hook on any car here. Yours isnt a Factory original tow hook, mine is. thats why it resembles the Rear Tow hooks. yours is aftermarket and would bend if i stepped on it. Mine is used to tie the car down to a trailer or rail car... i could probably use it as a jacking point for cryin out loud!

btw, JDM fog lights ARENT yellow lenses. i had a set and eye balled them hard, perfectly clear and identical to USDM fog lights. its the bulbs you put in them that makes a difference. apparantly the JZA70 i had here wanted to be USDM since they had the Diamond cut H4's and Non-yellow fog light bulbs; just like every other MK3 stateside

JDM tails have a tinted diffuser, the outside actual plastic part is identicle. Same with the center section. The paint on the JDM's on the center section is more gunmetal instead of a bright silver like the USDM's...

You can make the center section match on the USDM's... Like I did

I have a rear sunshade, but it's USDM, I have rain guards (unistalled), and I want the Turbo A duct. Other then that, I don't want anything else, all of those things I listed are functional for one purpose or the other.

well if toyota continued to use the same H3 fog light bulb in later cars, which i dont doubt... like the GS300, then they are bulbs. My friend had "JDM" yellow fogs on his 99 GS300 and they turned out to just be bulbs.

besides, how would it just be the reflector? itd have a white center and a yellow glare/halo. it wouldnt be 100% yellow.

poodles must be right, if i had white jdm fogs on jza70 i had here.
