my lexus AFM is HUGE and doesn't allow me to do much(space wise), so i'm curious on what i would need to buy to eliminate that?

do all lexus AFMs have 3.25" inlets?
'cause mine is.

and how big are the stock accordian intake tubes?

thanks

MAFT, HKS VPC, MAFT Pro, Standalone ECU, in order of cost. Greddy made one too, but damnifIcanremember what it was called.

You'll have to buy some other type of sensor as well, of course, likely either a MAF or AIT & MAP.

As far as i know most people just use stock accordian hose. Just make sure its not hard as a rock accordian hose. If your want to start modding your car make sure you replace all of the hoses, gaskets and belts with new one.

Heat your accordian with a blow dryer or heat gun if you're having problems making it fit.

True, but that's not the one I was thinking of. REBIC? Something like that, anyway. Definitely old tech by now.

That didn't get rid of the afm.. It did get rid of the rev limiter though iirc.

I'm pretty certain they had one that moved you to MAP as well. I've never been fond of Greddy equipment, or I'd probably remember the actual name. Don't make me go dig it out of the archives, they are full of dust, and I'm intrinsically lazy.
