So im looking to spend around 200 (no more then 300) on a aftermarket rad. My research has lead to mix reviews about the rads that go for that price (mishimoto, mizu, goodspeed). so i was wondering if any of you guys had any advice on which direction to go. I wouldnt mind buying form another member but havent found anyone selling a rad

Efficiency is good enough. I don't have a good gauge so couldn't tell you exactly. It's huge and aluminum and appears to be well made so is think its efficient.

Mcevans, for 200, stick with stock style or bump your budget to 300 and get an aluminum.

actually CX racing has made some decent products. Their intercoolers are really well built my friend uses it on his 300whp subaru it gets ICE cold. No cracking he has run it for a year.

radiators should be no exception give it a try come back and tell us what you think?

Mishimoto are also good brands for 300 bucks decent radiators but like i said don't knock CX racing till you've tried their products.

So quick question when upgrading the raditator why keep the clutch fan ? why not just upgrade to electric fans?

Also on ditching the clutch fan is it as simple as taking it off? and just leaving the pulley for the water pump?

then wire the electric fan im guessing difficulty level would depend on your wiring skills but shouldnt be all that hard. in my case i only have enough money for the rad which is y im not considering the electric fan

Mizu are well over 200 and I wouldn't buy a cx racing rad.

Both are aluminum though.

Ya just take the fan off. If your going electric do it right. My dad has one on his Z for like 10 years no issues but most people on here seem afraid to run them.

Its not an upgrade to use electric. Infact most electrics dont even flow enough for our cars. Need to use something like a ford taurus fan. The 1hp you gain from switchting to electric is also lost with electrical load from the alternator. There is no gain from it.
