IIRC people can cut keys according to your VIN and if they have a connection @ a dealership they can get the key cut and steal your car. All they need to know is your license plate # VIN # and state and thats it!angrydrone said:

I've heard of it happening, however almost all dealers will require proof of ownership as well as identification before cutting a key.
Also, cars that old are no longer in the database, but I edited out the VIN anyways.
If anyone wants to know when it was made, just post the chassis code then (MA70-xxxxxxxx). It's stamped on the firewall. Can tell from that too.
