I don't remember where I lost it or how much money was in it, but I want it back. Please mail it to the address I left in the other post. I can describe the money if I need too. Thanks.

Let me guess, white and green, with a guys face on the front?:biglaugh:

If ID, I would return it as-is, no questions asked.

If no ID, and I found it somewhere like at school or something, I'd check all the publications and corkboards and stuff to see if someone lost one, and it matched the description.

If no ID, and no hope of finding the owner, I would keep it. I'm pretty responsible with money anyhow.

yea, deff. return it if you can find out whos It is, Ive found someones credit card laying on a gas pump before and returned it and felt good about helping them out....it just shows that you a decent person if you return it if you can, if theres nothing else in it then theres nothing you can do.

So..you all think im a scumbag or thief but im not. I am the one that lost the wallet. I made this thread to see if it was even worth trying to locate and get it back. I see good response from people saying that they'd return if there is ID.

But sadly for me, I lost My really nice black leather Wallet, $200+, Maximum Tune/Initial D arcade card and my fortune cookie fortunes =(. I think im pretty sure that I dropped it at Hooters, but i called and nothing.

I usually don't carry that much money but my check was just cashed and after my friends and I all went to Hooters...

Working retail I've seen many lost items returned to their owners, but often if there's no I.D. or credit cards, the money goes to waste. I dont know if the cash goes to corporate or if it just gets destroyed, but after 30 days, its history.

Moral.... With I.D. return it; No I.D., put up a flier/leave a note ON YOUR OWN. Dont just give the money to a store employee. Even me.

I'd keep the whole thing. I think its there falt for loosing it!!!! Thats why I don't keep money in my wallet.
You have no cash in your wallet because you own a supra:biglaugh:

I Would have to agree with the majority.

If there is ID, I would give it back. No ID and it was on the street well then i'm having a good day. In a store with no ID I would give the store my information because if no one claims it, it should be me that wins in the end.

If you lost it in hooters some drunk people picked it up and bough a round if drinks and then laughed at all the fortunes...

Doesn't seem to be much debate going on here. One person asked and everybody pretty well gave the same answer, give it back. He never replied to it so no debate ever really began. 99.9% Of the people here have the same idea of what is the right thing to do. Not so bad, for our future.
