What would you do if you found a wallet with only money in it Let's say about 150$ in cash. What do you do...

1.Take whole wallet with all money.
2. Return wallet but keep money.
3.Reuturn everything as is.

Answer as honest as possible, Ill tell you all after why. Just ANSWER truthfully.

I have lost my wallet with over $400.00 in it and i got it back with everything in it ,And i would do the same (locate the owner and give it to him or her).
Things have a way of coming back to haunt you later if you dont give it back. Remember the old saying what comes around goes around.

if there was no ID in the wallet and it was just money, fuck it theres nothing you can do but keep it. anything else would be throwing it away.

however if there is an ID in there and you know who it belongs to, then return everything.

last summer i was driving home from my girlfriends apartment and in the street there was 20 dollars bills everywhere. i pulled over and picked them ALL up. there was 525 dollars exactly. some guy came by in a car and said it was his, and he told me exactly how much was there.

so i gave it to him no questions asked. i was pissed off that i didnt get there sooner, cause if i had been a minute earlier i would have gotten all that money and driven off before i would have even seen this guy.

moral of the story? do everything quickly... but i didnt get there soon enough and the money was obviously his so i gave it back.

Give it back as is if there is an ID. Without ID I would turn it in to the store or whatever (I would hate to think that they may take the money though).

I'm with the majority... If there's ID, i would definitely give it back exactly as i found it.

No ID, then i would keep it.

I don't know how you guys could just keep it without the ID in there. I mean, if you found it on the highway while you were taking a leak at 2am then that's one thing. But if it's in a store...

...oh, new idea. Tell the store manager that you found one, give them your info and if anyone calls and can tell you what's in it then give it back. I dunno, I guess that would just make me feel better about taking someone elses money.

I'm assuming it was found on the street.

There is really nothing you can do if there's no way to find the owner, other than bring it to a local police station...? but who's gonna do that? and then what would they do other than wait for someone to ask about it?

I'd keep the whole thing. I think its there falt for loosing it!!!! Thats why I don't keep money in my wallet.
