What would you do?

I'm considering buying the rims posted in this thread: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2360

They are Blitz rims, 17x8 all around.

Right now I've got MKIV TT rims on my car. 17x8 front, 17x9.5 rears.

The only reason I'm considering it is to have lighter wheels. If they are lighter. The seller does not know the weight, but I was under the impression that Blitz only made lightweight racing wheels.

Can anyone tell from the pics if they are real Blitz or just knockoffs?

Like the title of the thread says: what would you do?

With the MkIVs you have more meat/better traction, and they look great. If you want 'em, go ahead, but I personally would not.

Good price. They look real, notice the cast lettering on the rim showing it is indeed blitz made. I would not get them because they don't suit my taste, but if indeed they are lighter, and you like them, buy them!.

Price is great, I personally would stay with the MKIV rims... they look much nicer with the lines of the supra... those are nice wheels don't get me wrong but i don't like them on the supra...

For that money, you can't go wrong, with the caveat that the wheels have to be straight. Hell, you can resell them to a Talon driver for twice that cost.

These are REAL, I was the previous owner. I put the new tires on in April and have put less than 1000 miles on them. I am kind of hopeing that no one buys them that way I can save the money and buy them back cause they are now on the shell I bought from David. Anyways we will be weighing them tommorrow and also weighing the mkIV TT wheels to get a comparison.

I prefer my '91 wheels, but that's just me.

Those blitz wheels could look good on the supra.. but I have to agree with everyone who says to stick with your current set of MkIVs.
