If you're looking for new(ish) muscle get an fbody (Trans Am, Z28). Faster than the 5.0s at about the same price with better looks. You could actually get a V6 with high mileage for cheap, swap in an old big block (surprisingly cheap. Almost no modifications necessary. You can even keep the 6spd with no modifications if it's a 93-97) and pwn face.

That said, find a bank that has a higher interest rate then the loan, deposit and make money =]

Why take out a loan when you can prolly just save it up and then you won't have to owe anybody money back afterwards.

I was actually thinking about taking one out for a 89 5 speed that was on autotrader a few months back for like 5500 but I don't like the idea that i would be spending 150 on insurance, god knows what to pay back the loan, and spending money on mods. I'd rather do what I'm doing now. Buy one for 1800 thats an 87. Fix it up maintanence wise and then do mods.

I know a guy selling an used 01 IS300 for $9,800.
