What would you do if gas hits 7 bucks a gallon?

im selling my current 1jz ma70 supra and buying a crf450x for a daily and just building a ma61 7mgte for a project(weekend and wet days car).I live out of town so fuel for myself and my wife is rediculous.

I would pay $120 +/- to fill the car instead of $80 +/- , shrug my shoulders and get on with my life. Based upon what we pay today, it would increase my fuel costs by about $45 a week. It wouldn't make a measurable difference in my lifestyle.

Mine is just under $200 to fill at today's price so I just put it on Plastic and ignore it ;) (There's plenty of $$ to cover it but on the card it's mickey mouse money ie: not real so it doesn't hurt)

ouch! I see tonight on tv that the torres straight islanders are paying $2.50 per litre which then starts impacting on grocery costs such as milk prices for them are now $6.00 for 3 litres.The fuel costs are just the tip of the iceberg so to speak as the flow on affect will rise the cost of everything transported by it.
