I will be cutting the whole roof off a targa car, not just making a top into a hard top car.
Its a lot of free labor with little expense. And im not doing it for profit, im doing it for the love of a targa.

Converting to targa is a stupid idea.. There's more to it than just the a pillars. The body has extra bracing iin the floorboard. Also think of this, how much money and mainly how many hours will it take to "convert to targa"? Drive a few hours out of the way to find a decent car so you don't have to deal with that bullshit.
Well I found one in NC that is decent. There just ain't shit around me. I told the kid about the original car to forget it. That I wasn't getting ripped off.
Just remember your doing them a favor by purchasing there car you are the one who has to live and deal with it once you give them money

He wanted $8500 yesterday, id offer him $2K, $3K if he had it running when i went to look at it.
