Converting to targa is easy for someone in my position. Ive researched, i know what it entails and it will be very cheap for me to do correctly. Thanks for your useless insight.

Please, share what's involved...

Ps, step 1 if not cut roof and step 2 is not profit...

Well the windshield will come out, most likely just leave the hard top pillars on the car though. Then both a and b pillars will need to be reinforced/braced, as the targa cars have stronger pillars, then the new sections will needed to be welded in. I will be cutting the whole roof off a targa car, not just making a top into a hard top car.

Its a lot of free labor with little expense. And im not doing it for profit, im doing it for the love of a targa.

Thats about 6-8 hours from me round trip.

That's not bad. Honestly your spending tons of cash on a car i would rather drive and have something nice then end up with a pile.

I drove 6 1/2 hours one way to get my car and driving it back was so much fun!

Its not out of the question but im going to look this one over first. If i like it, then it will come home. If not then dude can keep it.

Only reason i am trying to push you in another direction because honestly i think it looks like a pile and you are going to end up with some elses shit in your hand.

The guy knows nothing about so not only do the pics say it was not taken care of the owner says it too..

Converting to targa is a stupid idea.. There's more to it than just the a pillars. The body has extra bracing iin the floorboard. Also think of this, how much money and mainly how many hours will it take to "convert to targa"? Drive a few hours out of the way to find a decent car so you don't have to deal with that bullshit.

Well I found one in NC that is decent. There just ain't shit around me. I told the kid about the original car to forget it. That I wasn't getting ripped off.

Very interesting although its much more nice then the previous car i would be careful to why he is selling it.

The car has not been started in 4 years but $4500 for a project car that is not running...

And since it's modded working on it and figuring out what he changed could be a pain in the ass

I see a lot of modification on the interior. Things were moved so I can't saw the wiring wasn't messed up.

Search out of state. Drive and get a better car.

Ive been looking up to 400 miles out from my zip code. Cant find shit.
