I bought a new set of piston rings for my 1jz and on the oil ring there seems to be a guide of some sort on the oil ring. It slides through the other side of the ring and fits perfectly. The old on the pistons didnt have it. The one side is locked in firm with the ring with a bend. Do I take this off by bending it or do I just leave it?
What to do with this??
