what tires

hey everyone, just wondering who has some recomendations for what tires to run. i have mkiv wheels so i'll probably be running 245's up front and 275's in the rear. i have a single turbo 1jz so i need something that will hook up but i also have to be able to daily drive this to school 3 days a week. I'm not to worried about winter driving because i already have a different way to get to school on days when there's snow. I want something that will be decent at the strip but also good with turns. too many choices and to be honest i never bothered to learn much about tires. i have a few ideas from researching last night, but i just want to see what everyone else comes up with.

i just checked those out. i think they just took the number 1 spot... everyone seems to like them and they're a great price. thanks for the suggestion

I had the Falken ZE-512 Ziex's on mine. 235/45 and 275/40. They hooked up awesome and were very quiet. And they weren't that expensive either. Like $400 shipped for all 4 or something like that.

yeah i had looked at the mx's a bit too. anybody had each of these to compare the too? right now leaning towards the azenis

You can read some great reviews of just about any tire at tirerack.com I put a link up to a tire test done a while back, would love to see if anyones seen any newer tests done.
