So I go to check my email and I find I have an email from Modifiedcartrader.com saying that I need to update my listing....

I take a look and it's MY 1987 SUPRA!!!

Wow, all I can say is wow. I figured it HAS to be somebody from here. It's the only place where people know what my car has in it. My friends can't remember the name of my rims let alone what year it is so I don't suspect them. I'm glad I haven't got a call or seen somebody in person interested in it.

They could get a friend at the DMV to look up where you live and do something.

Who has had access to your VIN?

If that's nobody, who at home has access to your keys?

You said in an earlier thread that your parents don't like your car, any chance that it was them who put it on that site?

What I'm thinking is that they hoped that you'd get a high offer of around $3k, be blinded by the thought of turning a profit and sell.

Would make sense as to why -
The right VIN was posted
Why the information on the car was accurate.
Why your contact details where used
