What the hell went here?

Don't have a picture from when the original engine was torn down, and can't figure out what's supposed to be there on the new block. Here's a couple of pics showing the place in question. Thanks in advance...

a pipe for the cranksheft vent hose if im not mistakes.

thats where your crankcase vent hose hooks up to the block, i think there should be something a fitting or pipe that fits in the hole, i dont remember exactly its been a little while. then your hose runs up the the pipe sticking off of the valve cover next to the alernator.

You can buy that fitting from the dealer for about 20 bucks, it presses in. A hose will go from that to the valve cover. This pic has A&N fittings but you get the idea.

Thanks for the prompt replies everyone. I've pulled the part #'s off of Cygnus but they didn't show precisely where the bottom attached, but your answers and pics nailed it down. Thanks again.
