I have been looking at lots of different spring/shock combo's as well as coilovers. I'm looking to maintain a decent ride quality for daily driving, yet stiffen up the cornering a little. I dont want to lower the car much, and would like the ability to adjust hight and stiffness independantly. I came across these today and wonder if anybody else has gone with this brand or heard of it? are there any other brands that offer independant adjustability like these?
lmk what you guys think.

I think that I would not get those. They are unknown and coilovers that are much more expensive that those are only ok. For what you want, get a nice set of springs and shocks. Lots of people like Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks.

I would stick with the idea of coil overs. I would not buy them on ebay, or buy a brand no one has ever heard of except on a Honda or something.

That being said I think your best approach to keeping the stock ride quality, but improving cornering would be to go with some sway bars.

I went Eibach's and KYB's....I wouldn't want it any stiffer and what a difference it made. Best 450 bucks and 3 hours I have spent on my car so far.

Neaver seen tho's they don't look bad for a no name brand but it would suck to make a 700$ mistake i wouldnt get tho's look around a littel more for a good coil over even if it's not a 1300$ tein you could find somthing good out there.I don't know if megin racing has coil overs for this car or if there any good but there not a bad no name/ebay brand.check tho's out

+1, except that i payed to get em done. a nice drop (about 5ish inches between frame and ground) good price (TY MDC) and great performance.

you want good cheap coilovers, look in 935s folder for the megan vs k-sport thread. do your research, do it once and do it right.

megans look like a good bet, but wondering if they would be too harsh.
it says Spring rates 18kg/mm front, 14kg/mm rear for the megans at 935 motorsports, and the ebay nex coilovers are
Spring rate : Front 12kg
Spring rate : Rear 8kg
they are both a difference of 4 kg front to rear, is this ideal or should they be relative in percentage to stock?
Tein Type Flex coilovers
* Tein Type Flex coilovers
* Front: 671 lb/in (12kg/mm)
* Rear: 336 lb/in (6kg/mm)
* Height Adjustment range: F:-0.4",-3.7" R:-0.4",-2.7"
* Ride height Drop: F:-1.7" R:-1.5"
these offer as small a drop as .4" front and rear which i would probably want around .5 to 1" so i can clear my driveway as easily as possible.
the spring rate on these has a difference of 6kg/mm front to rear.
when i was looking at buddy club coilevers they were
Spring rates 18kg/mm front, 10kg/mm rear that is a difference of 8kg front to rear. would this mean they are not matched well or are the other makes the ones that arent matched well?

I came across this- http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35398&highlight=spring+rates
and it says stock is
* Stock MKIII
* Front: 461 lb/in (just over 8kg/mm)
* Rear: 215 lb/in (just under 4kg/mm)
* Drop: 0
yet later on in the thread it says 86.5-88 are different than the 89+, so im not sure which one this is or how much different they are. I have an 88 with original tems shocks. 92k on the clock.
I also came across this which might help some with the coversion of different listings
Spring Rate Conversion Table
0 Kg/mm 0 Lb/In
1 Kg/mm 56 Lb/In
2 Kg/mm 111.9 Lb/In
3 Kg/mm 167.9 Lb/In
4 Kg/mm 223.8 Lb/In
5 Kg/mm 279.8 Lb/In
6 Kg/mm 335.7 Lb/In
7 Kg/mm 391.7 Lb/In
8 Kg/mm 447.6 Lb/In
9 Kg/mm 503.6 Lb/In
10 Kg/mm 559.5 Lb/In
11 Kg/mm 615.4 Lb/In
12 Kg/mm 671.4 Lb/In
13 Kg/mm 727.4 Lb/In
14 Kg/mm 783.4 Lb/In
15 Kg/mm 839.2 Lb/In
16 Kg/mm 895.2 Lb/In
17 Kg/mm 951.2 Lb/In
18 Kg/mm 1007.1 Lb/In
19 Kg/mm 1063.2 Lb/In
20 Kg/mm 1119 Lb/In
21 Kg/mm 1175 Lb/In
22 Kg/mm 1230.8 Lb/In

for now im just trying to take in all the options to see whats best. I am looking at getting sway bars for sure, which is probably my best investment for fixing my problem cornering, but would like to eventually get new shocks/springs or coilovers anyways. what deters me tho is most of the descriptions for coilovers it doesnt say if the ride hight and preload is independantly adjustable. also in a couple suspension threads people said to make sure you adjust everything correctly instead of installing them as is. is there any how to's or do instructions come with new coilovers?

If you still have the original shocks or warn out ones replacing those will do more for handling then putting in sway bars.

Also as much trouble as you have to go to, to just replace shocks you might as well replace the springs.

i have seen people put nex coil overs on hondas with good results but you have to remeber that coilovers are nothing more than a good spring and shock combo an for the extra money consider how often you will be adjusting ride height and getting it aligned in my cause it would be a waste of money because once i find a setting i like i wouldn't change it but my car is a street car so fixed springs and shocks will do the job just fine for me
