There is a product called 9-wire. Its a single bundle containing 9 wires. eight for speakers wires and one for remote turn on.

This is all assuming you're attempting to wire up a 4 channel amp?

You would hook the 9 wire into your amp output and then run it behind your headunit and hook it up to the factory wires.

You don't need to replace the stock wiring. Period.

Just cut the stock speaker wires on the body side of the door jam, and then splice in new wires running to the trunk... pretty straightforward.

I would never do that.

Why not? Unless he's running really high quality gear and has the whole car deadened, whats the harm in using 3' of the factory wiring? Its just wire, its not like in our cars it'll make a noticeable difference. Its also a hell of a lot easier than running new wires through the door jam!!

Just use a coat hanger, and fish a wire through the stock rubber boot. It's not that hard. I fit a 4 conductor, 13ga wire through there, (which is like 3/4" in diameter). It would be pretty easy to fit something smaller.

Once you have that through, take off the trim piece on teh door bottoms, and run the wire through the carpet edge. I seem to remember there's a plastic conduit there for running wires.

Where do you get this 9 wire bundle?

I used a coathanger to fish wires through the stock rubber boot from the door to the A post, and the stock conduits on both sides to run stereo wires.

Pull the kick panels, and you can peel your carpet back, and carefully unclip the spring loaded conduit. There are even cutouts so you can run wires under your seat, and then up along the tunnel if you want. I have mounted an Eman Blue and Profec E-01 this way, and they quite a few extra wires. (I put that stuff under the passenger seat, and then routed the wires up the right side conduit into the ECU via the right lower kick panel.)

Down the left side, I have a 4ga. amp power wire, as well as a few other wires. So there is quite a bit of space if your take your time, and make sure nothing is being pinched. I routed my RCA cables down the middle, to keep them away from power line induced whine and noise.
