I am just finishing up my build and was wondering what horsepower I should expect. It will be tuned and dynoed afterward, but I am just curious. I have an 88' turbo 7mgte with:

60-1 ct26
3.5 in. turbo back exhaust (no-cat)
walbro 255
550 cc. injectors
lex afm
safc II
cooleze ceramic intercooler pipe kit w/ ceramic "accordian hose"
spearco intercooler
fidanza aluminum flywheel
stage 2 clutch
wiseco pistons and rings
all arp fasteners
mls headgasket
balanced
ported and polished head
exhaust manifold ported
intake ported
afpr aeromotive
electric fans
aluminum radiator
about 16 psi w/aem boost gauge/controller

I think that is about it. any input would be appreciated.

I don't know much about the ct26 turbo upgrades, but I would guess about 370 to 400 rwhp. I wouldn't testify in court or anything, but that's my guess............:biglaugh:

For sure you're going to be over 300 whp, that's my guess. Most people can do close to 300 whp on the stock turbo at 16 psi.

you stated 60-1 trim ct26 ? if so i'd say 420-450 rwh at 19-21psi of boost with good tune .Because John Lunsford made 435.5 rwh and 468 torque with his 60trim ct26 at 19psi of boost.you can check his mod on (7mpower.com).:icon_bigg

With the same mods and a 57trim/ct26 people are making over 400 rwhp at 18psi. With that said no less than 420 and alot of torque at 16 psi. You should do 18psi and post your dyno sheet so you can enlighten the non believers of the upgraded ct26s.:evil2:

I am going to get it dyno tuned when the shop gets the car done. What is a high boost that I can run somewhat safely with these mods? Is 18 safe? Also what should I set my aeromotive fpr to when the vacuum is off?

I wouldn't go over 18psi on pump gas. Set the FP per TSRM, sorry my work blocks cygnus so I don't have the number right now. I want to say 34psi or around there but look it up first.

Up grade your fuel setup... I assume you have stock injectors so i guess mayne mid to low 400's before you start to lean out

well to tell you the truth, I have been putting money in this car for so long that I can't remember for sure. I probably have 10k or more on the motor. Not to mension, that I am on my third motor.

I think that with the Upgraded CT26 60-1 with the 550's you'll be perfectly fine running 22 psi with the 550's, you should with 22psi and a good dyno tune you should be in the 425rwhp range with 16 the turbo is just waking up. I've seen people in the high 400's with 550's. on pump gas. Becuase its a ct upgrade you won't need to put in race gas unless you run like 28 psi (which is past the turbo's efficeintcy) You will be fine with 22psi and 550's on pump.

You sure that 22 psi will be fine? If it is, I would be more than fine with running it, but can the ct26 60-1 handle this? I have just been told by a couple others that 18 is the highest I should go. My motor is supposed to come out really strong.
