If you (personally) think your car is in that bad of shape as far as appearance goes, then by all means get it up to par with your needs.

Ask anyone - It's HARD (better yet, EXPENSIVE) to have TONS of power and yet, still have a great looking car (more than just sleek and clean).

If you think you really crave that extra "Push you down in your seat, Neck breaking, whiplashing, nasssty" feel...Then get a bigger turbo. :)

As for Joes comment... a 300hp SUPER clean MKIII or a 600hp "not so great" looking MKIII....

If you've felt it before...

I'd rather have the 600hp. ;) Of course, assuming the car isn't hideous...but needs some minor work.

Good luck with your decisions and remember there's always tomorrow (and more money). :)

I have a different take on this issue. I vote for you getting a reliable daily driver. Then you can safely put cash in the Supra, aesthetics first. You can always add more power later and have a kick ass car. Idk about the aftermarket wing, but to each his own.

I just spent $2,000 going through my entire bottom end with all new bearings, new pistons, and a mhg done correctly. I am more reliable than most at the time being lol

I didn't mean a dd for reliability. I meant to say that a nice Supra will get lots of attention from thieves, and then we read the sad stories of break ins, stolen stuff and stolen cars. A dd is a must, imo, if you have a nice Supra.

I'd say go with whatever is needed most at the time....if your bumpers are that bad you could always go with the bodywork, then just go back the the HP mods when you get a few extra bucks

Well I think I gained a lot of information from this, if I did a body kit with a wing, I think my car WOULD be broken into. Right now having no one look at my car could be the best thing.

I plan to upgrade my turbo, but not for a bolt on. I figure why waste $1600 for a bolt on turbo just to want to go "bigger" some day. So I plan on going some route of a t4 turbo.

My options right now are:

Have a adapter made for the stock manifold for a t4 turbo and wastegate.

Buy an SS auto chrome and have it rewelded off the bat.

After that I am sure I can find a used turbo for sale in the 700-800 range and save the most money. Though, which turbo is what I am unsure of. Wanting something in the 66/67 mm range to make about 450rwhp at 15 psi.
