What should I do with my stock BOV?

I'm not understanding the need for the HongKong valve?

The HKS knockoff (Hong Kong) would be used mainly for low psi let off's because they have a smaller, faster reacting valve, and a larger one for higher boost, in the same unit. The Synchronic has one big piston, which could be slower to react as compared to what they are showing in the demo videos...

I had originally bought the two flanges before I even knew about the synchronic, and was going to use the SSQV and an HKS Racing type II BOV together. The type II is similar to the sychronic in the respect that it has one large piston in it too and is "supposed" to be slower reacting than the regular SSQV.

Just wanted to make sure I had edequate protection for the turbo in low and high boost settings :).

Here's another one...

I think I'm Pretty much sold on this one now. The only thing I don't care much for, is how they have the fittings setup, with set screws and o-rings. Do you see a problem with them leaking/working loose (Locktite can fix that one)?

I come from a land down under
SS5: Yep just watched them both.

Not sure If I agree with his assesment on the throttle response issue.

Maybe if you run a tight little turbo or a restrictive IC hanging the BoV will help but I'd suspect it's more a tuning problem.

Yeah, I ignored the stumbling issue he was talking about. Other than that, this looks like it's the real deal...

Do your turbosmarts have o-rings to seal? If not, do you foresee any leaking issues with the o-ring setup for the fitting to mount on the IC pipe?
