right now iam trying to figure out what i should do next on the supra, in terms of adding power. i would like to reach 350-400hp. my current mods are:

60-1 ct-26 turbo
full 3in exhaust
new HG and ARP's tourqed to 82ft lbs
newer head/and resurfaced
NGK plug wires
Hard pipes/intercooler piping
knock off BOV/but better than stock
wideband AEM UEGO
currently running around 10-11pounds of boost with an air/fuel ratio of 10.3 at WOT, so im pretty rich, and the unmetered air screw is backed out on the afm, so it should be leaner but isnt. i can run about 12psi max, i hit fuel cut at like 13-14. i would like to be able to run 15+psi. if i got a Fuel cut Defender would that allow me to run about 15pounds? and is it safe?

next question, 550s and lex afm... i know those two mods will allow me to add power and run higher boost, but will i have to have like a safc to even run those two things on my car? or would i be able to put the 550s and lex on with out tuning?

you can definatly do the 550's and lex w/out any other tuning device, as long as the adjustment screw is on the afm. People have had great sucess with this, and you have an upper hand, a wideband, this will help you tune in the adjustment screw in the afm to get it close to your desired ratio! it also allows you to run higher boost levels, probably around 5 psi or more. Hope this helped, oh yea that would definatly be my next step. OR you can just get a maft-pro and get rid of that pesky afm all together!

i think i'll deffinitly do lex afm and 550s with a safc for tuning to get even more power. :) but what exactly is the maft-pro? and whats the advantage? cost? thanks

i know this is a very broad question, but in general what kind of power should i be putting down with the mods i listed and 550s, lex afm, and safc. tuned to like 16psi?

Nate - It's all going to boil down to how well it's tuned.

Lean is mean, :biglaugh: But you're also pushing your boundaries if you're not careful.

As for "what should you do next"; Based off of what I've seen from your car previously:

Clutch, ;) - Or Lex/550 Mod.

I know that upgrading your clutch may not "add power"...but it sure as hell will feel like it!

Also - For the sake of your turbo, get a GOOD quality BOV! :)

On the flipside to adding power...Getting an S-AFC or some other relative piggyback and tuning it what you've got to work with NOW is always a recommendation....Instead of just cranking up the boost when there's still power to be had at the boost levels you're currently running.

Get a MAFT-Pro, and tune what you have. Ditch the AFM (it's a restriction in the intake, anyway)

Either a) get 550cc injectors (new) or b) send your 440s in to get blueprinted from Rich @ cruizinperformance.com

MAFT-Pro + 550s = 400rwhp with what you have, once it is tuned. If you want more, get cams.
