Judging from the window shape, body length and quarter pannel body lines I'm gonna have to say its the Celica.

Whoever made it should be banned from owning any car besides kia's, pre 2005 hyundai's, or post 1995 buicks/oldsmobiles.

I think Canuckerz got it right on this one fellows. Looks to me to be a 1st generation Celica Liftback with a Mk3 front clip. Never would have thought that the Celica was wide enough in the rear to do this sort of cut and paste job. I am reading a rather thick book on the Celica and Supra history at the moment, wonder if I will come across this in there?

Celica bit nearly wide enough. Looks like Photoshop. ESP the white sticker. Kinda like the mk4 with mk3 front end.

Well.. I hate to say this but the pic is real not photoshop. This is a conversion from a Supra MK3 (nose cut) to a Celica 1st gen (TA27/28). Found this pic in the facebook where the owner decided to sell his car. More pic as below:-

Nowdays is not that easy to get parts for the 70s celica and also Celica Supra here. However, for Supra MK3 body parts are easily to get since most of the people here are interested with the engine. They swap the 1JZ engine to their 4x4 vehicle, Toyota Mark2, Cefiro and etc.

Other than the aerodynamic improvements, I can't see why else you would want to do that, the 1st gen Celicas were gorgeous. Oh well, for all we know the original panels were so far beyond the ability of the person who converted it to repair, that they decided to do what we see here. Beer and working on cars always seemed like a bad idea to me haha...

Ahh... you're right, the sides are pulled in a lot tighter to the body than on the Mk3. Looks like the factory widebody fenders though.
