it slips a little in normal cruising around town, but nothing severe. it runs around 1800 in final gear at 45mph , with light throttle at 45 it will jump to 21-2300rpm and is slightly laggy at stoplights. idk what is going on with it it just seems very high on the freeway to me. and im getting around 18mpg on the highway(lights down),

damn dude i just sold a auto tranny for 20 dlls it was off my 91 turbo after a 5 spd swap it had like 115k on that thing

That is close to stock with an A340E.

For those that are familiar with the formula for RPM/MPH/Tires/gearing, etc, the R154 has .75:1 ratio, and the A340E is .70:1 ratio.

Upon further review, the Yukon with the standard axle, known as non towing package in truckland, runs about 1900 @70 mph, and about 2100@ 80 mph. Cause I know you needed that info.
