Well this is where it was are these the two hose. He has them connected I didn't do any of this. The heat works fine View attachment 65311

All that happened here is the HBV has been bypassed so water is flowing through your heater core at all times, rather than only when switched on. If your 89+ then the temp at which that valve opens will vary on cabin air temp. If the valve is bad, then you can replace it with a valve from a 92 corolla (Four Seasons Heater Valve #74850). You'll just have to "adjust" things a bit.

with this bypassed, you're going to have fun in the summer. he took the heater selector out so you will always have hot engine coolant running in the heater core. that means your ad, if still functional, will blow warm air.
