....well... that's why I'm confused for mine... ~60sumthin' thousand miles? I don't need "break-in" oil... I thought they were just asking what we use in our non-new, current, engines....
I'm starting off w/Mobil1 10w30 (~$21 for 5qts at WalMart).... We change the oil often and that's where we found it cheapest. We also use it in the fiance's MKIV N/A. If it causes me any issues, I'll go to 15w50... we'll see with this 2J, since it has about 65K miles (I think).
Oh... I gotcha now!!! In my 2JZ swap, with my ~65K mile Aristo engine, I am going to start off with Mobil1 10w30.... 'Til this point, it's only had JDM oil in it ;-)
Always Liqui Moly full synthetic 10w-60, it has better charts then Castrol RS 10w-60 and it's mostly used in motorsports (rally, track race and so on).
