What kinda LSD and R154 oil do you use?

TRD never whines nor do the several stock diffs i've had in there.... Switching to a good aftermarket diff was one of the best handling upgrades i ever did to the car... and yes, a TRD diff is not cheap... but it puts down power coming out of a turn like no stock diff has...


but i could be going deaf, too...

TRD diff is nice, but we've had quite a number of high power guys breaking them. They don't seem to last long after the numbers start to hit ~500 whp.

Redline MT-90 for the tranny.

75/90-wt LSD differential carrier oil from Ford for the Diff. The diff oil is a tech tip I picked up from Reg Reimer years ago, tried it and it works. Here's his page on this: http://www.suprasonic.org/public_html/sonictech/mk3/mk3_pmtn.html

Get the redline from a local speed shop - I use a place called Mopac, but I don't think they exist in the USA. Talk to the local drag racing guys, they'll point you towards a shop that carries it.

The Ford oil comes from... wait for it... Ford.
