I'm just wondering to get an idea of what to use. If anyone knows the goods and bads about certain oils that would be helpful too but what do you recommend running?

I have a torsion LSD as well if that makes a difference. I rememeber Reg getting all upset when I told him I just drained out the Toyota fluid, and filled it with something else, as apperantly Toyota (and Ford too) fluid has some special friction modifiers in them which are necessary for our clutch LSDs. He didn't realize I was running a torsion diff, and friction modifiers didn't really matter. If you run a clutch-type LSD, I would recommend keeping some of the stock fluid in there, or using a little of the Ford stuff
It didn't, at least not back when I bought it last, but I heard a rumor that Ford was adding it.MA717MGTE said:does that ford diff fluid already have the FM in it?
c2m said:TRD never whines nor do the several stock diffs i've had in there.... Switching to a good aftermarket diff was one of the best handling upgrades i ever did to the car... and yes, a TRD diff is not cheap... but it puts down power coming out of a turn like no stock diff has...
but i could be going deaf, too...

Redline 75/90 or 75/140 for LSD depending on time of year
