what kind of pistons and rods?

Well it's posted in the 7mgte section so let's hope it's in the right place.
I have a 2jz block and I went with Eagle rods and CP pistons. I'm not saying they're the best but they've held up good for me so far. Only about two thousand miles though.
Edit: Carillo's are very very expensive, but worth it if you can afford them.

Well I was thinking eagle rods and pistons... Ahhh people are now telling me to go 1j... I DON't even know what to do. I am so new to turbo cars and supras, but boy do I love my 89
dont let people tell you what to do with your car. do some research, and make your own decisions.
custom Pauter Ti rods with Honda 1.8L rod end on the piston side and some custom Ross pistons with medium skirt using honda 1.8L pins.
JZ fans are like Apple fans. Sure, they've got a good product, but they make a disproportionate amount of noise for how many actual end users are out there.

The most common choice is JE pistons with Eagle rods. If you going for really big HP other rod choices might be longer lived.
