wings are functional but almost noone goes fast enough to achieve the right effect, having said that, that wing has always been one of the bigass ugly ones I actually like. The car was done right but the pic is so old the car is probably melted into coffee cans by now.

Nope, the pics were taken at TX2K7 by me :D

Wings that size don't have to go that fast to make a noticable difference in grip. Now the big ass fiberglass wings don't to jack LOL

Certain cars can pull it off. I wish I had taken pics of the MKIV with the huge ass wing that bolted into the 4 licence plate holes. He used it on the track and then removed it, took it apart, and went the rest of the event wingless...

They have to be obscenely large to work well at lower speeds where most people wouldn't put them on anything but a track car, and you're going to need other supporting mods to take advantage of the grip like antisway bars, which it looks like hes lacking.

I bet it's still around as S2 still makes new parts for our cars...

Canuck: think the guy was on slicks, can't remember. If it's too stiff you'll lift tire and it won't corner as well... That car was badass.
