ok guys here is my problem, i was doin a lil rough driving the other nite, and i had a piece of my cooling system break, i wasnt too far from my house, not even a mile, so no harm really , jsut that one piece, and i needed to know if any of you can tell me what it is, its on the firewall almost in the corner, its behind the downpipe and its almost like a tee sortof

ok so i tried for like ten min to get that pic on here and its not working, so if anyone has a clue great

This part breaks on virtually every Supra, get a new one from the dealer. Or bypass it entirely, it's not a big deal unless you live where it gets hot and you need your AC set on Max all the time.

Close! It actually shuts off the flow of hot coolant to the heater core IF you have your climate control set to Max AC.

You need it if you ever want to have heat again.

u sure about that, the descripiton he gave basically said ill have all the heat i want just no AC

Unless I'm terribly confused, you won't have any heat without it.
I say this because, when mine went tits up, I had no heat. Also, if you disable the unit by removing the vacuum line from the diaphragm on top, you will lose heat.

so itl hold the pipe in place

No kidding. It won't be a subtle leak.

Lol, I tried to fix mine after the plastic corroded out. Didn't work out so well. So I bought another one from a member here. Good luck.

I can't remember which car, but there is a replacement valve that is quite inexpensive compared to the Supra unit. Almost a quarter of the price.

You have to slightly modify it and I mean slightly.

I have it on my Supra and its been there for two years, expecting another 15 years of service.

It's a 89 corolla, all you have to do is swap out the lever.

It could be pre-80's.

But IMO the Corolla Solution is a pretty good one.

idk if i even explained the problem in detail enough, the units port thats the horizontal one completely decintigrated and the pipe DID pop off completely

Lol, sorry about that. We tend to go off track a bit around here. If it were me, I would just buy a new one. I know there are other solutions, and cheaper. But I just spent the $140 from Toyota for a brand new one without the hassle of doing any modification. I also know it should last another 20 or so years.
