What is this thing?

okay guys i have a 87t supra 5 speed and i dont' know what this thing is. it has a twisty knob on top that says increase. i'm also trying to get my heater to work. there is air flowing but it's now warm. i'm a noob at supras so a little help would be appriciated.:1zhelp:

thats a boost controller not stock follow the staged upgrades before you play with that

when i bought the car, that thing was already in there. i'll just remove it. how about the heater. i think there is soppose to be a vaccuum line or somthing.

Yes, you're missing a vacuum line on the top of the diaphram
