i bought the car not running and recently got it running great after a few things, only thing left to fix...(majorly) is the speedometer doesnt work and theres a hole in the downpipe, i took the gauge cluster off and spun it on the back by hand and it didnt move the needle so do i need a new one? or i dunno but thanks for the help. and sorry if i have bad grammar, spelling or anything like that.

Get some clearer pictures, not so close so the camera can focus.

The first picture; it isn't a Toyota part. Looks like aftermarket BS. Probably part of a noise maker maybe.

The second is too poor to tell anything. I take it that is the knock sensor. Yes they fail. And depending on where you live, you can have a wiring problem, where the ECU does not see the signal, and trips the code for open or short.

I can't tell in the 3rd either. To blurry, but my guess is the wires are not factory.

You don't have to replace the cluster, you have to spin that needle in the back A LOT faster than you could by hand to make it move ;). Most likely the bottom half (screws apart) of the speedo cable is broken. Go to the F/S section and look and post it up in wanted to buy. I got mine off of Chriso. When you finally get the newer working one, eithre pour some motor oil down inside the cable and let it sit with it pouring in overnight, or go to an autoparts store and see if you can find the lube specifically made for speedo cables. doing this will help make the cable last a lot longer ;). Also. when you unscrew the cable from the tranny, make damn sure you get out ALL the metal shavings from the broken cable (this is where most break IIRC, mine did it like that neways).
