I blew a coolant hose yesterday and want to know what hose it is and what it connects to. It hooks up to a small cylinder, similar looking to a wastegate acutator.

It is the black hose that goes from the way back of the spark plug valley to just behind the turbo/charcoal canister area mounting to the firewall:

Its on a 7M-GTE, you can see it pictured on the 1JZ motor also..

If anyone knows a part number or has one for sale pm me, can send paypal ASAP!

Thanks

I believe you are talking about the heater hose..........the one coming from the block going to the heater actuator.

That tool is SUCH a lifesaver for hose clamps that are... let's say buried in the middle of.. other engine compartment clutter... Props for the mention lol :)

my supra nearly took my eye out last year...

had a large one of those clips spring off the plyers i was holding them with and shoot DIRECTLY into my eye, not around my eye but my eyeball its self. my eye lid closed as a natural reaction.

i ended up in hospital with internal bleeding in the back of my eye. lost vision in that eye for a week but luckily it cleared up and went back to normal...

it was just a freak accident but my advice is.. be careful when working with these small spring loaded clips...
