I guess I'm ignorant. If you could be so kind Ian: What the hell is an NVH Damper Weight?

Noise Vibration Harshness damper

My Auto Cross member has studs for another one and there's one on the Engine Torque damper as well as the top of the accelerator pedal. (there's also one in the shifter)

Now and again you'll get harmonic vibrations at certain engine/road speeds and you can feel/hear it through the car so they bolt big weights to certain parts to stop it.

Maybe it's 1/4". I didn't do this, I found it when I took it apart.
