i got JDM turn signals cause they were cheap ($20 and i needed new ones anyway), I got JDM taillights cause mine were broken from the previous owner ($160 shipped about the same as regular good condition USDMs), and they looked nice. I got my JDM sidemarkers because they stick out and im going to be doing the blinker re-wire. My rims are JDM Kei Office Keiichi Tsuchiya designed (says so on the center caps) because I got a great deal on them, and I liked the way they looked. I also got JDM style fogs, cause yellow cuts through the fog better...

I really don't give a dam about all this JDM crap! I consider my car an Americanized, one-of ME spec version of the Supra. Hell,i'll even put my signature on it!

In my eyes yes, because they contrast with my white very well and all 3 pieces are the same color, compared to the mismatched USDMS...

If your car wasn't bought and registered in Japan it's NOT JDM......
Here we look down on JDM cars as they're usually bought in cheap then have to be modded to receive Australian compliance and still sell for less than an Aussie delivered version of the same car.
Also don't believe all this 40.000 miles crap, they may exist but it's not the norm.

Your car is only truly JDM if it was initially sold in Japan and then brought to the US as a used car, anything else means you have added parts but it doesn't make it a JDM car.
Ie a JDM MK3 would be a genuine JZA70/GA70 etc that has been imported to the US/Australia as a used vehicle.
its in the name Japanese Domestic Market ie the car was sold in Japan and then brought over. PS your car wasn't made for the australian market the SC300 was never sold new here.
