I dont know what it is about the car I was hooked from my very first MK2 in collage. Mabey its because the Supra wants nothing from me. It does'nt want me to take out the trash. It does'nt judge me. It never wants me to be something im not. It's only want is for me to take its top off and drive it around, making me feel instantly better about being me and forgetting about all the crap I have to put up with daily. And then add to it a bunch of owners on a websight that feel the exact same way that I do about it. Thats what my Supra is to me.

When you stand in front of the car and look down the side of it, that line that goes down the side. How the body goes out, in, out, makes me weak in the knees everytime I look down it

You can kind of see it in this pic, I used to have a really good one but lost it :(

There is more but I think other people have covered them already, no need to repeat it.

The sound of an inline 6 turbo with an external wastegate is one of the greatest sounding motors of all time. That is the reason the Supra and Skyline ( all models with RB) reign top 2 street cars for me.

As far as the literal car, its a GT. A sports car with some nice luxery to it.....its a rare car honestly. Not very many mk3's around anymore (although it seems not so being in a forum dedicated to the car).

Having a big interior is a plus for me, since I am 6'2...leg room is KEY!

Honestly the best sounding motors to me are from the 70's F1 era...Matra and their V12 and the Cosworth DFV V8.!

I'm on supra #2 now, been driving them for 16 years now, and it never gets old, for me it's kind of like an addiction. I know someone else already said this, but I like that there are so few of them out there, I can go weeks and not see another supra.

When I wrote it I never even thought about that line in the movie. But yea I think the line is quoted from Nick Cage "and just blast to palm beach instantly feeling better about being me". I guess it shows how much I have seen that movie. Anyway I meant everything I said!!!

Everything. The way it makes power, the way it looks, the way it sounds under boost with a 3 inch exhaust, rwd, the super comfy seats, Toyota quality (specially after the hg is replaced), the price to rewards ratio...

For myself, and my 87 TT - is like the very smooth ride, the incredibly smooth
engine (think this is due to the inline 6 confg.) the weight of the car gives it
a very very, good ride, the options in the car are 15-20 years ahead of its
time. The engine although not that strong strong hp wise (by todays standards) is very safisticated, DOHC, fuel injected, turbo, computer controled
etc. I like mine very much and plan virtualy a full restoration. Every item will be restored to working order. All suspension parts that wear will be replaced.
Engine is being rebuilt etc. Almost all of the problems I read about with these
cars is simply extreme age and very heavy use (abuse). You restore a supra
and you have a ride that can't be duplicated in a new car for less than $40-50K. What are your thoughts on this great car---
Yep. Muscle meets manners, as titled by Motor Trend was the intention.
