I've been through normal dino oil, both offerings from Royal Purple, and the Redline MT-90...

Royal Purple sucks ass and doesn't belong anywhere near my car.

Dont worry about using lucas I also went through trial and error just switch to redline and you will be happy!

Lucas is not bad its only good at best compaired to red line.
As far as royal purple I hear the same results if its a new JZA70 clip with only 30K on it you might be happy with royal purple but when you add some miles you can reallly feal the diffrence with redline!

ALright thank you guys so much for all the great input! Well I did some thinking I will be putting redline that is after I install my new clutch and resurfaced flywheel. Right now I am putting Valvoline 75W-90. I am going to do my clutch job in january. I use my Supra as a DD so I need something asap but yes I will use Redline Mt-90 very soon.

Might want to read this concerning Valvoline SynPower gear oil:

Thanks Jdub! The only thing thats different in my case is that my gear oil is not syn power its the regular Valvoline stuff. However that really doesn't mean squat since I don't know if they changed the friction modifiers huh. Wow well it says GL-5 on the back but that was same case with the other guy. I already bought the gear oil but I will research it and see what comes up. What am I looking for? Friction modifier. I will look. On the good news side I will only be useing this oil for a month or 2. I also wanted to know what I have to service so that way my tranny doesn't leak anything regarding the gear oil. Also while I am at it might as well change all my clutch lines.

You want to use a GL4 gear oil like Red Line MT-90. A GL5 will work, but does contain the friction modifiers used in an LSD unless specifically mentioned on the gear oil data sheet.

Personally, I would use either Pennzoil Synthetic 75W-90 GL4 or Pennzoil Gearplus 80W-90 GL4. Having said that, a couple of months with the Valvoline will not be very likely to cause any problems.

Yeah It sucks that there wasn't GL4 Superautobacs didn't have crap and neither does kragen or autozone so this was all I could find. On another note it's only going be for a couple months and it shouldn't do any harm like you said. Don't worry i will put the good stuff in! =D REDLINE MT-90

Thanks Jdub you are pretty badass!
