Running... when ever I pick up my head from the shop, Its finally done Jim has only had it for like 4 months :(. Jim's shop is 1.5 hrs. south of me :( . BC stage 3 cams, 1mm larger SS valves, comp cam springs, port$polish, all the good stuff. Thats why I installed lower end w/o head.

RA something like 30 I believe, Dose that sound right? I would need to call Jim to find out, and I also get the total spec. (on paper) for the entire engine build.

Build thread, Well I started one some time ago but then I erased all pics. when I was banned for making a stink about prosport. OPPS........

I will make a new one soon but it take a shit load of time to load, copy and past into a thread. I took tons of pics of every part ordered, and installed. I have something like 200 pics. for the buid thread. :) I love pics. not words. Hint, hint to other build threads.

Also I bought a CTS-V this spring so the need for speed (or finish the supra) has burned out a little, but this way I get to take my time, and do it right. Also with the new $500 monthly payment for the V also takes away from the supra fund :(
Here is a pic of my V I picked up.

but why not just wait to assemble everything on the stand? getting all of the turbo, exhaust manifold, and intake manifold bolts are going to be a pain. and installing the arp head studs with the engine in the car is a pain in the ass too... not to mention all of the back bending you have to do now...

Getting the turbo oil lines in will be a pain in the ass. But When I picked up the V I need to make space in the garage for it, so something had to go. So I installed what I had, plus made room in the warm garage for the Caddy.
Furthermore I had to run all the wires for the after market sensors, and several temp. probes, so this way I was able to hid them better, and have them all in black jackets. When I pick up the head I will be in no hurry to get it done, so I will take my time, drink lots of beer, and give my back a rest :) Mainely beer drinking :) if you know what I mean

at leats its a cts-v... haha

and i have 1g for albums and 100gb for bandwidth... and thats FREE account with no bullshit. but you can only upload 1024x768 pics, but if all your doing is posting a pic of an engine on a forum, its more than enough.

Nope, no turbo just 400 horses of detroit muscle, inside a all aluminum 350 LS6. As for the TREMEC 6-Speed Transmission, (same as corvettes, cobras, ect.) it is strong(but reverse sucks tends to pop out of gear) the week link is the rear end. It is SUPER week then add in the wheel hop this cars has and you get this (not my pics. This hasent happened to me YET.)
