You would think your information was somewhat safe, but it seems its getting harder to protect our everyday information, like our license information. Yep. It is now possible to see anyone's Driver's License on the internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and it came right up.

What about identity theft? Where are our rights?

Anyway, you can have your information removed and it's not hard. I suggest you do soon. Just copy and paste the link below, enter your name, city and state and see if yours is on file.

www.license.shorturl.com

After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please
Remove". Then fill out some basic (but not personal) information and you can have it removed. This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement. There's also a number there in case it doesn't work for you to call for direct assistance.

FYI...Some of you have some goofy pictures. That's right, you can also check some of your friends out. HA HA. Can't see me though. Not anymore.

Actually, I do seem to remember back when I got my license, doing a search online @ Florida's My Driver License website, and having to manually tell them not to show my information, except to a LEO.

I knew it wasn't right when it said searching 9 million licenses in California.
There's way more than that.

When it said searching 1.5 mill for phoenix I just assumed cause illegals dont have to have a license.
