lines a few bucks?

SS lines is pricey. The fittings are pricey. Easy to get 200 dollars in just lines (talking all fittings and parts)

I know what fittings and lines cost. Ive built them tons of times. It doesnt cost $200 to make a freaking line and fittings for a feed and return.

please don't say using that crap push on lines which are illegal in most racing association for fuel usage.

I dunno about you, but there is no way an Ebay FPR is going on my $15-50k investment

More info?

Use the stock diagram?

Did you custom machine that cap? I am in the machine shop every week...

yeah made up the cap, got a spring twice the length and double rate, a little brass washer ontop of the spring and the bolt with a lock nut job done! works perfectly with my 040 motorsport fuel pump :)

Whats the best way to pull off the stock cap, did you just cut it off?

I assume you used a snap ring to hold the new cap on?

What holds the stock diaphragm in place?

Do you have any other pictures?

Thanks!

are you kidding me?

YOu guys want him to use an Aeromotive AFPR that is designed for 1000bhp? how bout, NO?

Hes only looking for 220 RWKw... not 800RWKw. He can get away with a stock 7MGTE FPR, "adjusted" for 43psi base, w/ no vaccum signal on the nipple.

I say, Reset your Base FPR to 43psi, that way, youll Know you are getting the rated Fuel flow from your injectors. If your Base FP is less than 43psi, then you are leaving fuel flow, and Torque, on the table.

Dont be a sissy, run 43psi Base FP, tune out the richness and be a Big Kid!

FYI, if you want, install a Fuel pressure guage on the CSI port, as per the TSRM. then, remove the vaccum signal from the FPR. stock FP is anywhere from 33-40psi according to the TSRM. Use a small hammer and tap on the top of the FPR housing. this will preload the spring and apply more pressure onto the diaphragm. keep tapping untill your Base FP reaches 43psi. Careful, because it only takes a few gentle taps to bump the FP.

you can do this with the car on or off. to do it w/ the car off, just jumper the B+ and FP terminals on your check connector.

have fun, and enjoy the FREE Fuel pressure bump and raised Fuel cut-off point!
