Here is the loose connector I found that the mechanic didn't connect..
Is it the oil pressure sensor???

Wires are yellow, and one has a black stripe, two of them, the connector is gray, and looks to have a miniature orange colored seal like a mini o-ring or something.

I guess I should also ask, what does it connect to?

Thanks guys, as usual, ya'll rock!

OK, I think I tracked the wire colors down to this being the oil sensor as I imagined it would be.
Can anyone tell me if this connects directly to the oil sensor, or is there a wire coming off the sensor that this attaches to?
I'm just trying to formulate a plan to get this re-attached, and any input is very helpful. I will continue to search the forums as always...

I can't tell you for sure because my wire was cut for an aftermarket gauge before I got the car. I can tell you that the stock oil pressure sender on the engine is one wire, and it's got a clip that slips over a nub on the top of the sender. Hopefully that helps!

the wire comes out of the loom behind the power steering reservoir. I have spent 4 hours searching and looking at diagrams etc and I just can't find a picture of the oil sensor and the wire that attaches to it. Does anyone have a picture of this thing and the wires that are down there?

I am so frustrated I could just poop myself...

Count wires with me.....
1) cold start injector time switch
2) temp sensor (gauge)
3) A/C Switch #3
4) A/C Switch #4
5) oxygen sensor
6) CPS
7) Oil pressure sensor
8) AFM
9)EFI Water temp sensor

Thats all I can think of at the time being.....if all those are connected........I have no clue, lol

Edit: Progressive Steering ! If yours is 89?90-92 it could be for your PPS

Re-edit....wrong side, lol

Are you sure it's not one of the connectors that connects to one of the sensors on the Thermostat Cover Neck? A picture of the thermostat neck would be better.

if it is the same as the one in my post it goes to nothing.
my coolant block had everything plugged in and nothing removed.

my car was completely stock and had everything connected and that little connector had no where to go.
